When I enrolled in the master’s program at a business school in Italy, my goal was to study on campus with the aim of gaining more knowledge and finding the right job for me.
However, things didn’t work out, and I was forced to study online in Egypt.
What I’ve discovered is e-learning can’t replace traditional learning, no matter what technology will offer in the future.
The human connection is very essential for student and professor, in terms of understanding and developing.
However, not everyone can attend on campus, especially in the current pandemic era.
So it’s important to be ready 100% before starting this challenging online learning.
For example, make sure you have a good internet connection and the right equipment.
You also should have enough time for your year studying.
If you want to learn in the right way, you can’t attend online lectures while you’re at work, or coffee shop, or on the beach!
You won’t get much benefit from recorded lectures.
Staying in a quiet place when you’re attending the lectures live is the best learning method.
You also can’t just listen to your professor as you listen to music!
It’s important to interact with professors through chat or mic to ask them what’s on your mind even isn’t a good question, or say what you think about what they’re saying.
You just can’t say only hi and thank you, professor!
There’s no place here for shy people and who have difficulties with using the latest technology.
Most schools now including my current school are doing a great job because simply they want to have more students every year.
Of course, there’s always a space for improvement.
If you keep complaining and complaining about the issues you’re facing, you will be the big loser here.
Students have more responsibility when it comes to the quality of studying.
As long as students ask professors and debating them, the outcome of lessons would be great for all parties.
Yes, virtual learning will always be challenging for everyone.
The best thing to do as a student is to do your best and try to take the best from this journey.
By this only way, you will get what you were looking for from your learning experience.
